Lemon Fluff

Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar

juice of 1 lemon

3 egg yolks

salt

Directions

Mix and cook in non-metal double boiler until thick, stirring constantly.
Beat egg whites and add 1 T sugar.
Fold into cooled custard.
Beat 1 c.
whipping cream and fold into custard (be sure to cool custard first).
Sprinkle crushed vanilla wafers in bottom of tray.
Add filling and place in freezing unit over night.
